|The Pitta dosha is characterized as the energy of digestion and metabolism. It represents the fire element in the body that helps in digestion and other metabolic activities. The dominated area of pitta is the digestive system of the body. It involves the action of enzymes and ability to think by regulation of neurotransmitter. Pitta resides in the intestine, stomach, sweat glands, blood, eyes, and skin of the body.
