Posted on Aug 28, 2015
People who suffer from allergies of a particular form are usually prone to allergies from various other substances. FOOD ALLERGIES: These allergens come from food. Most people react to a common list of foods. They include cow’s milk, egg whites, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, berries, corn and beans. You can get minor symptoms of intolerance such as diarrhoea and bloating, or an allergic reaction as severe as death. There may be vomiting, swelling of the face and tongue, and respiratory congestion, as well as dizziness, sweating, and faintness.

DRUG ALLERGIES: The most common drug allergies that people have include allergies to codeine, penicillin, and sulfa drugs. The common allergic reaction to these medications is hives, digestive problems, or a rash. In the most severe of drug allergies, anaphylactic shock could occur and possibly even death. That is why it is so important that you report any side effects that you have to prescription medications to your doctor.

SKIN ALLERGIES: This type of allergy can be due to different sources, including foods, drugs, pollen, stress, and insect stings. Symptoms include eruption of hives where the skin erupts into red, itchy, swollen welts that can last from a few minutes to a few days. One may also develop deeper swelling around the eyes and lips and sometimes in the hands and feet as well.

INSECT STING ALLERGIES: Normally people suffer from allergic reactions when stung by bugs like bees, ants, wasps and so on. The insects provide poison into your physique, resulting in pain, itching as well as inflammation at the web page of the insect sting. Quick medical attention is required when an individual is stung by a bug.

Allergic reactions are the body’s method of reacting to food, insect bite, pollen and any other substance it perceives as a risk. In such case, quick healthcare treatment must be obtained. Along with suitable medication, allergic responses can be treated however they could be lifestyle intimidating if ignored.
