About Dr. (Major) Rajesh Kr. Bhardwaj
A dedicated professional, Dr. (Major) Rajesh Kr. Bhardwaj has more than 30 years of rich clinical experience. Having graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (consistently placed among the top three medical colleges of the country) in 1982, he served in the Indian army – an institution with a rich work culture for fifteen years.
During this time, apart from gaining vast clinical expertise, he was also exposed to interesting assignments like a long stint on the Siachen glacier – the highest and toughest battlefield in the world in 1984, where he became the first medical officer to complete his tour of duty without being medically evacuated.
As an ENT specialist in the Army, Dr. (Major) Rajesh Kr. Bhardwaj was posted to the largest and the busiest hospitals, including Command Hospital (Pune), Command Hospital (Chandigarh), and Army Hospital (Referral and Research), Delhi Cantt. For his services beyond the call of duty he was honoured with the “Chief of Army Staff commendation card for meritorious service”. Cutting short his promising Army career he entered the private sector in 1997 where he continues to work with his customary zest and dedication to excellence.
Since 1997, Dr. (Major) Rajesh Kr. Bhardwaj has been attached with the most prestigious hospitals of Delhi and Gurgaon (the new medical hub of India) including Max Healthcare, Sitaram Bhartia , Saket City (Modi) Hospital. After being the Head of ENT at the Artemis Hospital (Gurgaon), he is currently Chief, ENT Services and Cochlear Implant Programme at the Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals, Palam Vihar (Gurgaon) with responsibility to look after the ENT services of the group’s hospitals in North India.
